What Arrests.org says about its records

Arrests.org says the information and photos were collected from the websites of County Sheriff's Offices or Clerks of Courts. A record page shows the name, arrest date, total bond, age, gender, date of birth and a photo.

Its notice says no claims to accuracy are made, that the people featured may not have been convicted of the charges listed, and that they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The four removal reasons

The Record Removal form asks you to pick one of four options:

  • This arrest has been sealed or expunged. You submit a copy of the order.
  • These charges were dropped or not adjudicated guilty.
  • Other.
  • Remove my date of birth and address.

For the sealed or expunged option, the form has a file upload for the order, an optional email field for confirmation, and a Submit Opt-Out button.

    Find the record on Arrests.org and open its page.

    The link is in the top right corner of the record page.

    Select one of the four options on the form.

    For Sealed/Expunged, upload a copy of the order, add an email for confirmation if you want one, and press Submit Opt-Out.
